There are times you may need to archive or delete an item – if an item is double posted, if someone picked it up not following the process above, etc.
Archive:
Find the item and click the ‘Archive’ button at the bottom.
You will get a pop-up message telling you all claims filed on the item will be archived, if you wish to continue click ‘OK.’
Your item will be archived.
To edit the archive reason – go to the bottom of the item details and find the ‘Archive Reason’ dropdown. Click and select your desired archive reason. Click ‘Update’ at the bottom to save.
If for some reason you need to repost the item – click the ‘Enqueue’ button at the top and the item will return to your Queue.
Delete:
If an item was double posted or needs to be deleted for another reason, pull up the item and click the ‘Delete’ button at the bottom.
You will get a pop-up message asking if you are sure you’d like to delete, to proceed click ‘OK.’
This will remove the item from the database and reporting completely.
Please note – this is a special function admins must give permission to users to perform.
