1. Use your camera to take a photo of an item to log it. Make sure it is centered and focused. Push the blue button to take your photo. 
    • If you need flash, make sure the lightning bolt next to the blue button is yellow. 
  2. When you’re happy with the photo, choose a category from the bottom by scrolling to the left. 
  3. Once you select the category, you can type in the rest of the details. 
    • Title: this will appear under the photo on your public-facing lost and found page. 
    • Description: this will appear when a customer clicks on an item to see details.
    • Internal notes: these are only seen by employees when logged into the software.

  4. After posting, you can swipe left, or click the three lines on the top right. If there is a check, your item posted successfully. If there is an “X” there was an issue and you need to try again. 
    • Here, you can also see the item number under the item title. We recommend using tape or labels to adhere the number to the item for easy logging and tracking.
